QuadKids Ambassadors - Passionate about participation
We are proud to announce that the QuadKids sporting concept has inspired two of Britain's most iconic Olympic athletes to help achieve our goal of giving every school child the opportunity to participate.
David Hemery and Dean Macey both demonstrated as champions how their experience of multi sports can be lead to possibilities for success and we are thrilled that they will be actively investing their passion to help QuadKids reach over 1 million school children each academic year.
Chris Jones Head of Marketing & Strategy at England Athletics was similarly enthusiastic about our new ambassadors. "The transfer of experience from school playground to club track is so important and we are delighted to be working with the Quadkids team to spread the growth of short form competition across England. Ambassadors such as Dean Macey and David Hemery will only serve to enhance the profile of Quadkids and support our joint objectives of cementing athletics in the hearts and minds of young people across the land beyond 2012"
Dean Macey - Commonwealth Champion & World Championship medalist
"As a youngster, I was always looking for ways to get involved in sport, but with very little confidence and few opportunities, I had limited success.
QuadKids provides that first step on the ladder that every kid needs. Not only do they get their first taste of multi event activities, which is a great base for all sports, but if they want to take it further, QuadKids provides contacts for them to do so, QuadKids is the way forward."

David Hemery CBE - Olympic gold medalist
"I have attended various Quadkids events in Wiltshire, and seen the enjoyment & excitement on the young faces as they take on the 4 Quadkids events. I am a big believer in having a multi-events athletics focus for young children, and QuadKids certainly does this.
I am also keen to explore possible links between what the QuadKids team are doing and the 21st Century Legacy project I am working on"
